About the event
HBCUWB is dedicated to promoting awareness of, attendance to, and graduation from Historically Black Colleges & Universities (HBCUs). While we are proud of our progress, the need is still great. Because we still have work to do, we invite you to attend the Black & Brilliant Brunch, a fundraiser to celebrate a decade of student support and help us continue our vital work.
Your attendance or donation will help us raise critical funds for our 2 annual events: The HBCU College Tour and our HBCU College Rookie Send-Off. A gift of just $500 could afford one high school student a chance to explore college options on our tour while a gift of $1,000 could award an HBCU-bound student a scholarship to cover rising college costs.
We anticipate a fun time with a lasting impact where amazing guests can come together to support Kansas City’s future and current HBCU students. Together,…
